ECTA JUNE MEET
The Bonneville Tune-Up meet was a small (relatively), but exciting and historic meet. For now, here are a few of the weekend’s historic results.
Sudbury, Ontario’s Trillium Muir ran 207+ MPH on an unfaired bike, to gain entry into the ECTA’s 200 MPH Club. She broke Walt Kudron’s record to
do so, and Walt was gracious enough to applaud (literally and vigorously) her achievement at her induction ceremony. In addition to being the
reigning fastest woman on an open wheeled motorcycle, an honor that she captured at the last meet at 218 MPH, she is (and always will be) the
first woman to gain induction into a recognized LSR 200 MPH club anywhere in the world on an open wheeled motorcycle.
To add a little sweetener, her partner in Nickel City Racing, Jody Leveille, ran 220+ MPH, also unfaired, to make his the fastest unfaired bike ever to
run at Maxton.
Tom Schaefer, our reigning points champion from last year and the ECTA current points leader, ran an astounding 167+ MPH on his Hayabusa
sidecar bike, which makes him the fastest sidecar ever to run at Maxton.
Congratulations to all these competitors for their achievements. More details and full meet results will follow soon.
